Should I go to the doctor for this pain?

I am a runner and for the past two years I had pain in the muscles gluteul, I think that is my gluteus medius, but I'm not positive. It can be very painful at times. Recently, my bad fashion but it started and off and the pain and I do not know if it is connected to my gluteul pain. Any idea what could be the cause? Should I go to the doctors?

More like a slightly pinched sciatic nerve than anything else. I suggest that consult doctor. You can get a referral to an ortho surgeon if the pain gets really bad and starts to travel to the leg.
