Monday, September 5th, 2011Your Knees and Hips Will Fail You
Did you know that if you are overweight you are increasing the risk of requiring a hip or knee replacement by 3 to 4 times and at the very minimum suffering from osteoarthritis? Do you know what Osteoarthritis is? Well its a condition that is very painful and is the leading cause for people who are now having joint replacement surgery.
I recently read an article from a University in Australia. They studied roughly 32,000 people of all walks of life. A body mass index was established and a waist circumference, waist to hip and percentage of fat or fat mass was compiled for the study group. This was all to determine how much pressure each person was applying to their major joints. What they found was quite interesting just a 15% BMI appears to cause increased risk of primary joint replacement; it even went on to say that the study showed 10 to 15 years later a drastic increase in replacements for people who did not reduce their BMI. Now I’m not going to tell you what the increment is for people with a higher than 15% BMI is, I think I should just leave that alone, we don’t want to cause a panic.
Now is the time to lower your BMI it’s never too soon to start! If you are young you should start now lowering your BMI and get your weight under control NOW! Take a look at our product website for Phen375, we have great solutions for just about everyone.
Did you know that many more people now in their 40s and even 30s are requiring knee and hip replacements? What has caused that drastic increase? Do you think it’s an environmental issue or is it excessive exercise? It can be a combination of either or both actually.
Let’s look at this a little closer. Have you noticed that there are a lot more extreme sports now for young adults and teenagers. Bicycling, riding horses, skate boards, motor cross, water or snow skiing, soccer, basketball, and American football. I am sure I have forgotten a few but you get the general idea. Younger people have been abusing there primary joints much more that previous generations. Extreme sports are a lot of fun but are very damaging to joint health. Now if you consider the environmental side those same generations are basically growing up on processed foods, fast foods, sodas, and energy drinks.
You have probably already noticed some press about or discussions about the issues of joint replacement for knees and hips and know it’s a growing concern. There is a big reason it’s getting so much attention these days, the pharmaceutical or artificial joint replacement manufactures are spending millions finding newer better and longer lasting materials. That’s a good thing as most people currently having replacement surgery for a major joint will require a replacement every 10 years thereafter. So making longer lasting joints is a good idea once we have to replace our original joints. Of course this is all predicated on the fact we will need new joints, but you can bet they have done their homework and that’s why so much money is being poured into artificial joint replacement procedures, manufacturing and development.

Hip Pain Kidney Cancer
Sunday, September 4th, 2011Does this sound like a kidney infection (please read if you have any medical knowledge at all)?
im a fourteen year old female, and not sexually active. Around four months ago i started needing to visit the loo for a pee every few minutes, and little or nothing came out. I didn’t tell my mom as i didn’t want to worry her, but four months on i haven’t urinated properly at all, im also getting rib pain, back pain, hip pain, stomach ache and side pain. But the thing is, im not urinating as much as i was, i urinate around four times a day and very little comes out, and the pee is a very dark colour. I also never seem to feel thirsty lately.
I have told my mom and she said it was silly of me for not telling her earlier, and that i might have a kidney infection. The pain isn’t severe but its constant.
Im going to the doctors on monday.
what does this sound like? im worried it might be something serious like cancer! What would be the odds of me having cancer also?
thank you for any answers in advance
It sounds like a bladder infection to me, or kidney stones. Only a doctor can know for sure. Make sure you tell the doctor all of this. Do not leave anything out. Hope I helped

Two reasons why plastic is used to make artificial hip joints
why is a high calcium diet essential after a hip replacement operation?
THANK YOU
its a ball and socket joint
plastic is noncorrosive and low coeffeciant of friction
whent he surgery is done the socket is ground out so the new ball fits in perfectly this increases the risk of fracture so calcium is a must for preventative measures

Undertaker’s last match at WrestleMania 26??? (retirement)?
According to Mike Johnson of PW-Insider.com, there is a lot of concern about The Undertaker’s health and his long-term future in wrestling following his performance in Puerto Rico a few weeks back. When Undertaker had his hip surgery after Wrestlemania, people backstage saw it as a minor issue that was being taken care of. As it turns out, it was actually more serious than expected (some sources claim a hip replacement). There were even private concerns as to whether he was going to get back in the ring at all.
One of the reasons Undertaker’s Breaking Point PPV bout was booked to only go nine minutes was due to his pain as of late and the fact that he has been moving noticeably slower. There is some talk going around right now that Wrestlemania 26 could be his final major PPV event.
What do you think????
I was hope that Undertaker will get 20-0…

Exercises
Muscle tension in the rest of the body can also cause joint pain. Stiffness in the legs can bring focus on a knee joint or hip. For this reason, the American Chiropractic Association recommends an exercise program that stretches back, legs and buttocks.
It may be a stretch for the thigh and leg push-up style made new section with a hole, not back. You can add the headwaters of the body if necessary. Exercise makes muscles affected stronger and more resilient, reducing the risk of inflammation and the need for relief of severe pain.
The disease begins with the destruction of tissue called cartilage that covers the end joints between two bones. Most of the cartilage may be destroyed due to a number of reasons, among which is the genetic predisposition to arthritis. Family history of disease may be a causal factor. A When the cartilage begins to deteriorate, joints become to come into direct contact with each other and grind the joints start to degrade and ignite. This causes the characteristic pain of arthritis. natural healing process bone body exacerbates the problem and, possibly, the joint can be replaced completely. Arthritis can be managed using steroids to reduce inflammation and tissue damage. Exercise and reducing the load on affected joints is the only remedy.
Osteoporosis is slightly different from arthritis, because there is a degradation caused by inflammation of joints. Osteoporosis is a condition that is highly skewed toward post-menopausal women, and decreased bone density, causing increased fragility. Even if this means that patients suffering from osteoporosis are more likely to suffer damage if Bone density was normal in body joints such as knees, which are subject to minute damage on a daily basis. Osteoporosis can be debilitating. The best way to treat osteoporosis in the home is to increase the intake of calcium, vitamin D, and estrogen. The first two can be complemented with increased consumption of dairy products. A little time spent in the sun would help provide the body with vitamin D because the skin has the ability to create their own vitamin D. Estrogen is produced only in the body vivo, should increase the intake of plant estrogens or phytoestrogens. This can be done by increasing the consumption of almonds, cashews, peanuts and vegetables in the daily diet.

Hip Replacement Femur Fracture
Wednesday, March 9th, 2011I applied for disability 11 yrs ago was denied and never appealed can I get back pay?
In 1999 I fractured my femur in a car accident applied for disability and was denied I was 22 at the time had no idea of how the process worked and never appealed well now I can’t work because of my femur injury which has also caused me to develop severe osteoarthritis in both knees I need a hip and knee replacements. On the SSA website femur fracture is listed as a disability should I have been denied and can I receive back pay for 11 yrs
No. There are limits on how far back they can pay. You have been making a living somehow for 11 years, so that would seem to prove that they were correct in finding you “Not Disabled”. They can pay back to the “Onset” date if you have been unable to work at your regular job. Basically, YOUR “Onset” date was the day you could no longer hold a reasonable job. ( a job that pays atleast $750 a month ) You may be able to get some amount of disabilit compensation, but be aware that it’s currently taking approximately 2 years to get through the process and be approved. The 2 years begins when you file your new claim, so get busy and start the wheels turning.
