I would like some personal and professional information about experiences with TOTAL HIP JOINT REPLACEMENT’S

IS ANY ONE ABLE TO SHARE WITH ME ABOUT TOTAL HIP JOINT RELACMENTS? I HAVE HAD BOTH DONE, AND MY HIPS ARE AS PAINFUL AS EVER…BUT THE DOCTORS JUST LOOK AT THE REGULAR 2 YEARLY X RAY AND SAY…”IT GREAT” COME BACK IN 2 YEARS. DESPITE MEDICATION, FOR PAIN RELIEF, AND ANTI INFLAMITORY MED, PHYSIO,ECT ITS AWFUL,SOME DAYS I CANNOT BEAR WEIGHT FOR MORE THAN A FEW MINIUTES AND I MUST LIE DOW.

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED LIFE SPAN OF THESE, I AM 50 AND HAVE HAD THEM 7 YEARS BUT ITS NEVER BEEN GOOD.MY QUALITY OF LIFE NEVER IMPROVED, AND ITS CHRONIC NATURE IS TAKING ITS TOLL.
THE MORE I DO AS I SHOULD, LIKE PHYSIO, HYDRO,MASSAGE,MEDS, AND OTHER I JUST GET GREATER PAIN RATHER THAN LESS.THEY ARE INFORMED OF MY PROBLEM AND I BELIEVE I HAVE A GOOD LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION WITH THEM.

ANY ANSWERS APPRIECIATED.

I am not a medical professional so all I can offer you are personal opinions & experiences. If I were you, I’d seriously consider consulting a second ortho surgeon for an opinion about the condition of your painful hip joints. I too have had both of my hips replaced in separate surgeries. They were very successful and I have complete mobility and no pain or limp. Have any of your doctors considered that it may be possible that a nerve was damaged during your surgeries? Whatever the problem turns out to be, you deserve more insight into whatever is causing it. Please consider a second opinion.
