Is there specific training to be a sonographer if you have no previous medical qualifications or experience?
I have been to university to study Graphic Design, but i am seriously considering changing my career path completely and training to be a sonographer. I cannot do a radiography course first because i am in a wheelchair and have hip replacements which means i cannot be in an MRI environment. I just want to train using ultrasound equipment, so that i am able to have a career at the end of it working with pregnant women. If anyone can give me any information about becoming a sonographer and courses/training programs in the UK then i would be most grateful.
Just so you’re aware (some people don’t know this), there is a lot more to sonography than just babies. It is used to examine many parts of the body, such as the abdomen, breasts, female reproductive system, prostate, heart, and blood vessels. Sonography is increasingly being used in the detection and treatment of heart disease, heart attack, and vascular disease that can lead to stroke.

How I can get financial assistance for hip surgery?
I have no money, no insurance or Medicaid.
The price hip replacement surgery is very low in India compared to U.S., UK and Canada. There is a famous company that is India, which organizes surgery for foreigners in India. Consultants are called Fly2india4health. I have read a lot about them in newspapers and on their patient stories. I also read that the financing arrangements for international patients as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can order your website. The cost savings are incredible. As a physician, I think that personally knee surgery can be easily done in India as the quality of care provided here is simply the best in the world. U.S. surgeons are / UK trained and facilities are 5 star. My cousin has the knee joint surgery done there and she is very happy with results. She is all praise Fly2india4health experts. She paid only 20% of the cost of what she said the United States and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. Hope this helps Source (s): http://www.fly2india4health.com

4 months ago I had a total hip replacement. The recovery and treatment has been coming along fine. Could enter a room without assistance or a walker or anything. A month ago I started having sharp pains in my hip area. The pain was getting worse and I began to lose strength in the right hip. However, it is very difficult to make a step with a walker. The doctor took ex-rays and there was blood and everything was normal. He did not mention the sciatic nerve. He told me to go to a Dr. aching pain. A friend told me about it, I started looking for information on the line on the nerve. Sure sounds like it's my problem. I wonder if someone is not familiar with what I mean. T before his disappearance? "I need not say how much it hurts. Can anyone give me information about this to do?
It's something I'm terribly familiar. I had the same excruciating pain, radiculopathy, and all that implies. Finding the good doctor takes time especially since no one wanted to touch me uncomfortable at the age of 17 (because I was underage and Most insurance policies do not cover pediatric physicians if their patients adults). Two weeks after my 18th birthday and four procedures for pain management, without success, fulfillment, was under the knife a famous surgeon cable. It is a neurological disease and spinal experts. His knowledge and skill I get up and walk around Manhattan the next morning. Doing research intensive be willing to travel if necessary, and you are a renowned spinal surgeon or a neurologist. Please choose carefully, however, because it increases age one, so do the risks. A colleague of 72 years, my father came into the sciatic nerve surgery, and urine was kept for two weeks after operation. He had to use a catheter all the time. But the saddest story my father 59 years. He suffered complications from a disc and sciatica surgery Repair and spent three weeks in the hospital with a physical therapy daily. Unfortunately, this treatment was not enough to prevent the development of clots in the legs (Called deep vein thrombosis). He suffered a pulmonary embolism leading to death.

disorders of the hip joint are common to affect older people. The occurrence of these disorders is associated not only with increasing age, but also serious injury to the hip. Treatment surgery becomes a necessity when the condition of a hip disorder increases without limit. Hip replacement and resurfacing – Both are technologically advanced medical treatment options. Hip Resurfacing involves replacing the articular surface of the hip. If prosthesis hip arthroplasty medically termed as, the femoral neck of the femur is removed in a surgical procedure. The first is an integral part of the reconstruction of the hip. This is not a recommendation to women and women with osteoporosis small regulated. Patients suffering from that surgery should be middle-aged and robust physical structure. N mini-invasive, is more difficult than the hip replacement procedure. Fusion of hip replacement and resurfacing is a good approach for dealing with severe disorders of the hip joint in some patients. In this method of treatment, an indicator of metal anatomical head first articulated by taking resurfacing and then took the total hip stem inside the femur. In general recommended for patients seeking reproductive unit longevity. This hybrid surgical technique provides the flexibility and longevity of the hip. The rate of recovery is faster in this case. Hip Resurfacing surgery is minimally different from invasive. The technique of this surgery requires a large incision and dissection of large muscle to preserve the hip bones. Only patients younger stronger and can handle the pressure of this treatment. Moreover, the replacement of the hip is a minimally invasive procedure involves a process of dissection. Only an expert and experienced surgeon can perform so hard to handle. In the case of a minimally invasive procedure, blood loss is lower and the duration of hospital stay is short. Patients undergoing hip-replacement surgery may be safe a speedy recovery. Guarantees the stability of the joint hip by preserving muscle tissue and capsule. Facilitates the movement for the normal hip and regular. The hip resurfacing surgeons need to carefully manage gluteal muscles. Moreover, HPC leads to bone formation, a postoperative complication. Because of this complication, muscle stiffness, which in turn paradoxical rigidity results. In the case of minimally invasive surgery, postoperative complications are few. About the Author

Positioning of Implants Is Critical

Should I Have Computer-Assisted Surgery ?
Computer-assisted surgery is just developing, and there is certainly not enough known about CAS to say that it will lead to better results than standard surgical procedures. CAS has been shown to make it less likely that limb alignment problems will occur after knee replacement surgery, but the computer models do not eliminate the chance of these errors being made. Furthermore, computer modeling does not take into account the soft tissues around the joint, which are as critical as the bone-alignment of the extremity. Therefore, current CAS only address a part of the problem of implant alignment…
