Hip piercing vs. transdermal implant?
For my 20th birthday I’m thinking about getting a surface piercing on my hips…. I have other piercings but none on any surface. I heard that surface piercings dont usually last so i was wondering if anyone can give me information on hip piercings vs. transdermal implants on my hips, thanks! please no posts on how disgusting it is because i really dont care what you think.

Go for microdermal, not transdermal. Transdermals don’t hold up well in such a high movement area as they aren’t at all bendy, not many people do them, and they are expensive.
Microdermals often reject on hips too, but they have a better chance than surface piercings.
Hips are pretty doomed whatever you do though, unless you’re bed-ridden. It just moves around too much to give it a proper chance to heal.
